After I tried clipix, I can say that Clipix has many advantages which I have never found in other tools. Here are the advantages about Clipix in my opinion:
- Clipix is a free online tool.
- Easy to signup.
If you already have facebook or twitter account then you can sign up with one of them, if you don't have then you can signup with your email account. No need to fill many input form, just input your email address, password and check mark the agreement of Term and Conditions. - Easy to organize bookmark.
Just drag the "Clip" button into your address bar on your web browser then click it when you want to bookmark, after that you will see pop up options. You can choose which image as the thumbnail and which category you want to put it.
- The list of clipboards is literally endless.
Multiboards and Syncboards are awesome interface features. With Multiboards, you can group multiple clipboards by category to stay better organized. Syncboards allow you to clip collaboratively with your friends or family. When anyone adds a clip to syncboard, everyone else you collaborate with will see it in real-time. - All of your board and account settings are customizable. You can even reorganize how your clips are ordered within a board.
- There are plenty of tools to help you share your clips including an iphone app that allows for internet clips as well as photos you take with your phone. You have access to your account on the go.
- There are privacy setting which let you choose whether you want your clips to be private or public.
With clipix I can bookmark many things, such as movies, videos, books, gift ideas, shopping list, restaurants, designs, architectures, etc. The picture bellow is how clipix work:
